President's Message

2017 President - James D. Disponett

Dear Fellow Nobles,

As the winter months are now coming to an end, I must say this year is off to a great start. Many successful events have taken place so far this year. I want to personally thank everyone that has shown up and helped out where needed.

We have had some great events take place such as the Super Bowl party that we started back up this year. We also have had our Ducks Unlimited event, as well as the Quilters’ Day Out, bringing in hundreds of individuals into our facility and seeing what our shrine club is capable of. I am very pleased with the amount of people these events have been bringing in and the money that has been donated during these events. The Sew “N” Tell Quilt Guild has once again donated a beautiful king-size quilt for us to raffle this year. You may buy tickets during bingo, Friday night dinner, or from a member of Tri-County Shrine Club. Tickets will be on sale from now till December which is when we will be giving it away. Tickets are a dollar donation a piece or six tickets for five dollar donation.

In the coming months we will be having more wonderful events going on at the shrine club; including an Easter party for the kids in the community, our annual pig roast will take place in June and several other events located on our calendar. We will still continue our weekly Tuesday night bingo and Friday night dinner, also our Texas Hold’em tournaments twice a month. I would love to see everyone come out and join in with these events; they will be a great time. I am excited to see how the rest of the year will pan out and to see our community come out to support what we do.

We are still in dire need of help during our events and bingo -- we need all the help we can get. The ladies that have been working the front door during bingo are getting burnt out after the many years they have helped out. So, we need help at the door and working the floor for bingo. There are many members, including board members, that could come out and help from time to time at these events. I don’t know how else to put it. We need more HELP when it comes to our bingo and Texas Hold’em events!

Fraternally yours,
James D. Disponett
